Keystone Canyon always leaves me amazed no matter what season we go there. The perpendicular cliffs and waterfalls are breathtaking. If you go in winter you can watch the ice climbers on bridal veil falls. It's amazing!

This is a trip you must do as you approach Valdez on the Richardson highway. You will be surrounded by mountains that reach to over 8000 feet and water falls that are several hundred fee high. A good way to enjoy your trip into Valdez and Prince William Sound.

You have to drive throw it to get to Valdez. It's a beautiful drive and awesome views of the water falls and the river that runs throw it. You have to stop to take pictures of the awesome waterfalls.

If you go to Alaska to see scenery the drive into Valdez over Thompson Pass and down through Keystone Canyon is the jackpot. Plan to stop at the top of Thompson Pass than go for a walk out along the ridge and sit a while with your back to the road and drink in the spectacular snow capped mountain views.... More
