Beautiful camp sites

Great place to camp and pet friendly. I sat by the lake for hours watching the ducks and relaxing. I felt safe camping here alone.

This is the perfect place for novice paddlers to get a taste of the Alaska lake country. There are loons on most of the lakes and you can easily paddle to within 20 feet of them to take photos. The cabins are great - simple, rugged and dry. If you rent canoes, there is an awesome little cart/contraption to help... More

Can kayak, or canoe from lake to lake. Lifetime of fun. Fantastic canoeing, or kayaking. Portaging through a chain of lanes. The lakes are secluded. Good access from parking lot. Canoes can be rented by hour or day. Great fishing. Pike, and trout. Peaceful. Serene. Beautiful. A place ever visitor should visit.

We paddled the canoe trail and stayed in one of the state park cabins. The cabins are clean and spacious, and the scenery is Alaska at it's finest.

We went out to Cabin #3 in February of 2015 – we had a wonderful experience! That fireplace can roar! We were actually too hot! But, loved it. Here is my blog post about the trip with plenty of photos. http://gneissweiss.blogspot.com/2015/02/nancy-lake-cabin.html

We rented Cabin #3 on Nancy Lake which is canoe in only. This would have been perfect if it was not for the motorboat traffic. On our way to the cabin a motorboat sped next to us tipping us over along with our gear and it kept on trucking along. Fortunately a couple in kayaks saw this and came to... More

Be advised that the majority of the road is not plowed during the winter so you have to park your rig and drive your snowmachine along Nancy Lake Parkway to the recreation area. We have a cabin in Willow and are able to ride the snowmachine directly to the recreation area. There are mile and miles of trails available with... More

Loved camping here. It was set up like culdesacs, very spacious. We only had one night so would like to go back so we can explore the area some more.

Thank CCBake
