We traveled from Wrangell on a jet boat to Anas Bear Reserve. Our boat captain and guide were both professional and fun. I felt completely safe walking very close to bears and learned a lot about bears, fish, plant life, Native history, etc. as we...More

I made my 3rd trip to Anan with Alaska Waters in 2017...they provided the most wonderful bear viewing experience. The guides are knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. I highly recommend them!

Took a four and a seven year old to Anan. Forrest service tried to convince us not a good idea. Alaska Waters staff bent over backwards to make it happen. Seven year old now loaded with great pics to show class mates the bears. Thanks...More

We're glad that the AnAn experience for your family worked out. Truth be told, your grandchildren made the whole thing possible. Responsible parents and well behaved kids. Perfect combination! Thank you for the kind words.

James was an excellent driver/captain, with history and ecology information on both trips. My husband and 2 grown daughters went on the trips and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the excellent customer service!

Thank you for the kind words! Our crews work hard to keep themselves educated on local history, Alaska Native culture and ecology so they can share that information with guests. It doesn't hurt that they are all longtime Wrangell residents.

everyone was very gracious, there was 7 of us on a boat designed for 10- 12 passengers which was nice for the extra room provided, diver and his assistant were knowledgeable, overall nice job on every ones part

It is VERY small and VERY hard to find. There are only 7 spaces and they are pretty much stacked one on top of the other. It is very close to town and okay for the 2 nights we were there between ferries.

Thank you for your comments. Admittedly, our RV Park is small. We built it as a convenience for RV travelers visiting Wrangell. It is the only full service RV Park in Wrangell.

The views around Wrangell are really beautiful but nothing compares to the awesome beauty on our jet boat tour. The shore is increasingly steep with amazing waterfalls - very much like Norwegian fjords but with fresh water. The ride with Capt. James and deckhand Glenn...More

Thank you for the kind words. I'm really pleased to hear that you enjoyed this excursion. Our crew works hard to be knowledgeable about the areas that we visit and they enjoy the experience as much as our guests do.

Trip of a lifetime. Worth every penny. A great way to see the Alaska wilderness. Jim was knowledgeable about the flora and fauna.

Great experience with a first rate crew. The complimentary drinks and bathroom added to the experience. Very comfortable ride to the glacier and stops at waterfalls, icebergs, wildlife sightings, and other points of interest. Informative narration and safety briefing. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting...More
