This place is terrific. Benny was our guide. He is terrific. We learned so much about the history of the mine and the day to day activity of the workers. It is cool in the mine, so bring a jacket and wear pants.

We took our Junior Girl Scout Troop to the mine and had a wonderful time. The guides are all former miners from the Queen Mine. He was great!

Hi The stairs are optional, 36 steps up and down. If a person choses not to do the stairs a staff member waits with them and talks about other thing about the mine.
