This is a great family learning experience. We donned some protective hard hats and then road a train into the mine where the tour guide explained a lot about how the mine started, produced gold and copper for many years. It did give a little...More

Once you get past the "oky-doky" girl (blonde) at the reservation desk, the tour is appropriate and you can really get a good feel for what it was like to work in the mine. The tour is only an hour, but you may want to...More

It’s fascinating to see how they mined copper & gold (other ores also). The train ride down was good but not for people afraid of close spaces. The tour guides are former miners so they tell so good tales. Lots of history!

One of the few things to do in Bisbee. Our guides were former mine workers so they gave you an interesting point of view. This tour might be a bit boring for younger children.

Very cool experience riding a modified train into a former hard rock copper mine. Guides are mostly former miners and can spin a good story and share the story of working under the ground.

Hi The stairs are optional, 36 steps up and down. If a person choses not to do the stairs a staff member waits with them and talks about other thing about the mine.
