This was a great tour... I loved being able to ride down into the mines with someone who once worked there. It was great to see the different parts of the mine and hear stories of what it was like to work there. I hope the knowledge of today's tour guides is captured so the history can keep on being... In summertime, being a quarter-mile inside the Queen Mine definitely puts you in the coolest spot in town. This is an enjoyable education in the history and technology of the mining industry, and a must-see attraction for Arizona residents and visitors alike.

Took this tour 10-12 years ago and was so cold couldn't really enjoy it. There are new owners and we were told they installed fans and closed shafts that go to outside. As result, very comfortable with light jacket. Tour guide was funny and very informative. Really enjoyed it.

We had a great tour guide and enjoyed learning more about the history surrounding Bisbee mines. Dressing the part made it more fun!

I enjoyed my tour at this mine. Our tour guide was knowledgeable. Be prepared to climb stairs, standing, and walking. I have feet problems and was hurting a bit afterward but it was worth it. Just wish I could've put on better sneakers.

Love the fact that the tours are lead by former mine employees. We have taken the tour twice personally and recommend it to all our out of town guests.

This a must do when in Bisbee. This is why Bisbee is Bisbee. Lots of history information. It is cool in the mine so be sure to wear appropriate clothes.

My ten year old son and I enjoyed the experience. The docent is an actual retired employee of the mine when it was running. You all ride in with minors helmets, head lamps, and sit on a rail cart deep into the mine. Then my son and I went and trotted the Bisbee 1000 stairs route in the cool of... More
