Overview
More
Alcantara Vineyards is a dream venture created by Barbara and husband Bob to provide their family and partners the opportunity to live the dream of growing a vineyard community and winery. It was in cultivating the vineyards and embracing the land that Barbara and her family soon realized there was a bigger picture in this hidden treasure along the confluence of two rivers. You’ll find Alcantara Vineyards has over 13,000 vines and offers 12 different varietals. While you sip wine and enjoy our peaceful surroundings, which include vineyards, a grass picnic area, the Verde River and bald eagles flying overhead, you’ll find you are part of our community and family.

Great wines in a lovely setting. Don't let the dirt road deter you- this place is worth it. The "Specialty Cheese" plate was fantastic, and made a wonderful accompaniment to the wine samples. The Zinfandel, Port, and "Grand Rouge VII" were terrific, and several bottles...More

Spent a Sunday afternoon visiting Alcantara winery. Beautiful location! It wasn't crowded and the staff was helpful and fun! It was a little warm so we sat inside but they have a great deck and lawn area. Will be back.

Great vineyard to sample Alcantara wines with grapes sourced from on-premise, other Arizona, and CA grapes. Knowledgable and super-friendly staff. Attractive tasting room/patio though is smallish so expect busy week-ends from nearby Sedona travelers. About 18 wines to choose from for modest tasting fees. Tasty...More
