I was a bit suspicious about the date shake but when I tasted it I was sold. Really tasty milkshake. We also had pineapple and cactus shakes. All tasty. A definite stop.

Date shakes are very good here. I enjoy stopping by and getting one when we travel to or from California from home. They also have bags of fresh dates with many varieties to choose from.

My husband and I were passing through. The first thing to notice is that it looks like a literal oasis in the desert with all the lush green date trees surrounding the property. I’ve read a couple articles online about the world famous date shakes...More

Very good date shakes but high priced, while the packaged dates are available at a very good price. There is also a Quiznos Sub Shop and convenience store on site.

i stopped here as others have said it is one of the few rest areas on Hgy #8. I had a shake and it was OK but overpriced. I opted not to eat at the Quizno's and push on to Yuma which has a lot...More

Great stop as you're passing through southern Arizona! I love seeing the date palms and knowing that you can buy dried dates locally sourced. Always clean restrooms, a Quiznos if your hungry or just some ice cream for a snack! Cute little gift shop; basically...More

We typically stop here when traveling between CA and Southern AZ. Good place to stretch your legs, bathroom break and get some refreshments. Gone is the diner and replaced with Quiznos which you can find in most truck stops now. But we just got shakes....More

Worth a 30 minute stop for an amazing date shake and to quickly learn more about this amazing fruit. The ice cream is good too and there's a Quiznos shop inside. Also a good place to get gas while still in AZ.
