I went into every open building including the school which was still in use. It was a fascinating self tour. Each building with its unique architecture had an explanation outside. Many of the buildings are still used by EPA, land grant office, Indian affairs etc....More

The website was a lot more inspiring than the visit. There are still some old buildings but only one you can go in, the rest are being used for other things. Museum a bit small and the Kinibisha Ruins are neglected. Made quite a detour...More

The ruins were interesting to see but the Apache Museum was a disappointment. I can say that it could be a much better attraction with a little work and maintenance. There was trash laying around and the overall appearance is one lacking reasonable care.

Fort Apache Historic Park is the place to experience Apache history and culture. Its worth the visit to help understand the Apache heritage and traditions.
