As part of a corporate outing, we went with a group of 30 on the Half Day Hummer Tour. Each hummer held about 8 people. From the reviews it sounds like the two person dune buggy is a more worthwhile adventure. From our larger vehicle, the scenery was not all that interesting, and our guide only offered commentary for about... More

My sons, nephew and I had a great time on the 2 hour dune buggy trip. We switched drivers at the break hence all four of us got a chance to drive and film (2 cars rented). The staff was friendly & knowledgable of the history of the surrounding desert. The dune buggies were high quality and very user friendly.... More

As part of a corporate outing we did the 2 person desert car excursion. The area we took off from was about a 40 minute drive from our resort, but it was a nice scenic drive on the tour bus. Some of the group had gone the day before and we got mixed reviews but I thought it was a... More

In all honesty, Kevin our guide made this trip one of the most memorable trips ever. He absolutely had so much amazing information on the animals and plants. We had such an amazing time. At one point we were all screaming and laughing at the same time. I would highly recommend this over any out door adventure.

We did fairly extensive research since this was the most highly anticipated activity of our vacation. If was tough to find the combo we wanted--a 4-seater option we could drive ourselves that would also allow us to bring two kids ages nine and five along for the ride. Desert Dog not only met all these criteria, they were friendly about... More

Great views and a little adrenaline rush make for a fun experience. Some great off the path views of fun trails. Nothing too dangerous but definitely not boring

We had the 2 person dune buggy. This was definitely a highlight of our trip. The trails were rough, bumpy, dirty and wet IT WAS AWESOME! ! The views were breathtaking. The only way to experience the desert. Very nice they supplied us with water bottles. There was an issue with someone in our group and a small bump up.... More

We took an evening Hummer tour last February and had a blast! Beautiful scenery, and a really friendly and knowledgeable guide - he took us all over and had a ton of stories and information about how to survive in the desert, etc. I got some amazing sunset photos and great memories. Would definitely recommend.

We went out with a group on the dune buggy ride through Desert Dog Adventures. You can pick the length of ride you want and we opted for the shorter ride (at least one hour). Ryan and Harrison were our guides and we had a blast. We went up and down trails and got an up-close view of the cactus,... More

We did the mini buggies in January as part of a group visit to Scottsdale. Close enough to get to easily but not an in-town ride. Perfect level of exertion and challenge, also perfect length of ride for the level of challenge. There are areas where you can really get moving and some where you need to proceed a little... More
