This is a very nice walking trail right in the middle of town. Many signs designating the names of plants were helpful. It is a short hike to the old dam, some incline changes too.

This is a real gem for the town. It's a nice short trail and very informative as all the plants are labeled. It's sort of hidden off the main road and only a few parking spaces but well worth a visit. It can be difficult...More

I love this short trail because all of the desert plants are labeled with their names. Although it begins along a busy street, you'd never know it after rounding the first corner. It's a short, easy stroll that nearly anyone can do, including small children....More

This is very where I was staying and it is a lovely little gem tucked in a neighborhood. It is good for someone who does not have mobility issues, but maybe can't go that far. Perfect for children!

This botanical garden actually looks like the many backyards in Fountain Hills. The plants are natural and many of them are labeled. It is small, but a good hike.

I love walking in the desert and this is very close to town. People are friendly, trails are well marked - good for 30 minutes of walking and a bit of excercies

Payne's concept of preserving this acreage is excellent. There is signage along the way showcasing the flora is very nice. You can pick up a map of the trails at the entry that identifies the trails. The reviews say it is an easy hike. However,...More

Another reviewer stated there was a $22 entrance fee, but that must have been for another place. There is no charge for Fountain Hills Botanical Garden. Just park in the little lot, pick up a brochure at the trailhead (or download one) and start walking....More
