I was quite impressed with the tour given by Docent John. While small, the museum covers a lot of info about the people and land of what is now Fountain Hills. There is a well done display on water and how AZ gets its water...More

This museum is a gem. You can learn about the history of the Lower Verde River Valley and life in Fort McDowell when the military occupied the area. Learn about the importance of water to the area, about the amethyst in Four Peaks and the...More

The Fountain Hills Library and Museum are housed in the same, very attractive, building. So it is a two-for-one venue. My wife and I visited both the Museum and spent time in the Library using the internet. We even got ourselves Library Cards for the...More

This museum is very small. Does not talk much about the town itself. It does refer to a dam that was almost built before the city became what it is today. There are other more interesting things to do in town.

small but cute, gives a good overall view of the State's history. Nice little gift shop too. Certainly can recommend. it's same entrance as Library and Community Center across the street. The little park with the statues is good too. Worth a stop.

I was disappointed in the changes that have been made in this previously all-encompassing and fascinating local museum. Billed as describing the geographic and cultural history of the Fountain Hills area, it has shrunken it's coverage at both ends of the historical timeline, emphasizing less...More

I LOVE this museum. If you go, see the part with the Fiesta Bowl Parade Awards. I feel this part is the best. :)

This is a small but very well organized museum with excellent displays that cover the ancient and tribal cultures along with the early settlers and soldiers. And the areas' inventive use of its water resources.

A cute and newly remodeled museum. Won't take you long to see everything but is interesting. I would recommend a visit.
