Interesting viewing of plants and birds

The walk is flat and on easy trail around six ponds. Lot of water birds and cactus. Great place to relax and enjoy viewing. Also to practice photography. Many types of plants.

This was a fun place for the Girl Scout Troup to explore. The girls were working on several badges for wildlife and natural habitats.

Riparian has a few miles of walking of biking trails as well as a fishing pond, a nighttime observatory, and kids activities. When the weather is nice, you can see local wildlife, especially migratory birds.

This place is a must if you love nature! The water area is beautiful, with lots of birds and ducks. The trails go on forever and bunnies, quail and hummingbirds galore! We really enjoyed it. Plenty of places to rest too.

Pond with ducks, turtles......bring appropiate food for them. Nice desert plants and wonderful for kids to hike and discover Dinosaurs. Fun play area. Can also spend time at the library next door.

The Preserve is a great place for families. There are great playgrounds and neat animals to observe. Several families were getting their Christmas photos taken here last Winter. It is a beautiful place to observe Arizona's natural habitats.

Great venue for a walk. Beautiful scenery. Park in lot or library. Bring water. Maps would be nice as we did not print one (expecting to find one there) opened a map box...nothing there. Flat easy trails. Fun park area for kids. Signage on trails is worn & faded. Which makes me discount the rating, as it would be SO... More

Bring some duck / turtle pellets or Cheerios to share and make 100 new friends, including those swimming the water and those walking the pedestrian path over the water. You can get "lost" in the beauty of this park without fear of ever making a wrong turn on any if the numerous paths that all lead you back to the... More

The most beautiful urban landscape, good for all ages. Thoroughly captures the features and terrain of southern Arizona within the city limits. Wish we had come on the weekend to do the observatory. Could easily spend an hour to all day exploring the many trails.
