Every time we visit Gilbert we take a walk around the Riparian. It’s always so tranquil and even on hot days there’s shaded parts on the paths.

Start with the 'sun' exhibit in the central park; then as you walk the delightful pathways thru vegetation and along the ponds, there are plaques that tell you 'you have reached Venus' or another planet distant from the sun. There is also a dinosaur dig...More

Visited in February. Nice pretty park with walking trails. Many nature photographers enjoying the birds. Kids loved the bunny rabbits here and there. Walking is easy and pleasant. Can't speak for the Summer, though. It might be too hot.

Easy to get to. Lots of parking, 2 restrooms, several picnic Ramada’s. What I liked the best werethewide cement paths. Easy for handicapped individuals. We enjoyed the turtles we viewed from the nice bridge. All areas were very well marked. I recommend bringing binoculars.

We decided to walk the trail and was very pleased with the cleanliness, saw all those baby rabbits ( Happy Easter!) and lots of ducks ,birds and some fishing areas. The parking was a bit small though theres some available near it,you can't park on the streets.

Husband and I came here on Easter Sunday and it was HOPPING! Literally! With families and bunnies! Weather was perfect. Lost of places and birds to explore. Nice, flat, easy walk for anyone. They allow you to fish too.

A nice mix of botanical and wildlife. There is a path throughout the park which is not too long and not too short. There is a playground for the kids, ducks to feed, and covered picnic tables to have lunch. There are bathrooms available near...More
