The chocolate festival is great. The Christmas season is even better. And if you are into antique shops you will be in heaven. Great prices, friendly people. Eating and shopping with a little walk makes for a nice time. Neat area.

This place has to be the best display of Christmas lights. Flashing lights, streaming lights, USA flag lights and they are mostly displayed on Palm trees. They have horse rides, and little kiosks with souvenir's, kettle corn popcorn, hot chocolate etc. Great walk and beautiful photos captured.....

Whether you're in the area for Glendale Glitters or just relaxing; Glendale Historic District is great for historic small town architecture, lots of antique shops, and many boutique shops and some good dining options. I live in Glendale, so I frequently take in special events, or just hang out.

Close to Grand Avenue, the historic district of Glendale is a real haven of peace. There are lots of antique shops where you can browse for hours. It is easy to find free parking and there are also several restaurants and cafes in the area. I always visit it whenever I am in Phoenix.

Glendale is the cutest little area. Lots of antique shops and boutiques. Little restaurants, greek, mexican, subway, sandwich shops, coyote oaties was my favorite and momma Bitzas. Bring comfortable shoes and the camera. Go to Gendale Glitters at Christmas.

In the Phoenix area, Glendale is just a short drive to visit their smaller, walkable, pleasant sidewalks and stop in some nice shops. Of course, we enjoyed visiting a few antique shops there, and had a chance to chat with some very nice people working in the shops, especially some of the very nice and friendly shop owners. Parking is... More

We visited several nice antique stores. Nothing very special, however they were neat and we did purchase some vintage vinyl records we had been looking for. There was a nice little outside craft fair going on.

Charming downtown area. Visit during the holidays for the Glendale Glitters events. Some quaint restaurants, coffee shops and antiquities shopping. Good place to kill an hour or two.
