Thunderbird Park offers a choice of several mountains and numerous trails and can accommodate all experience levels of hikers. The view from the top of any of the mountains is spectacular. Easy to get to with plenty of parking.

Not spectacular, but it's a popular hiking venue with multiple trails, from easy to strenuous. All provide a stroll through desert landscape, and many provide excellent views of the surrounding area.

Great option for half day to get out for a hike. Close to Glendale and very accessible . No issues with difficulty of trails, all walkable (no scrabbling or steep inclines like we experienced at Camelback!). Also had ample free parking .
