I hiked for almost 2 hours with my dog, reveling in the wildflowers. Lots of elevation change and limited shade, so bring water. Beautiful park with nice addition of informational signs about local flora and fauna.
Sparse and except for the wildflowers ( very pretty) which will probably disappear by late March, pretty monotonous. Don't use google map directions to get here, you will end up at the end of an isolated dirt road.
