Walked the town and looked into the museum. Looks like an older downtown of the wild west. Be careful when it rains because the streets flood very quickly.

We had been sitting in the car for almost three hours, and needed to stretch our legs. Arrived at Globe, parked the car (lots of free street parking), and walked three blocks on one side of the street, and walked back on the other side....More

We have done the Globe Downtown Historic District several times and really like it. We like funky old mining towns and do not need high prices and exclusiveness. There are several bars, numerous junk boutiques, a rehabbed movie theater, great ice cream, milk shakes and...More

Beautiful little park with shady grassy area, downtown. Looking for a place for our little dog it was perfect place to relax. There is also old train engine and a play area for children.

Sadly everything was close including the visitor center. Why even have one if it is going to be closed on Sunday, when most people travel to see surrounding area?

Not bad for a town struggling like most but had plenty of neat shops you can walk through - several coffee shops - restaurants- saloons - trading post / gift / jewelry stores - fun area ! Worth a stop or visit !

The few shops were only open on the weekends (!) with the exception of two worthwhile stops - The Pickle Barrel Trading Post full inside and out with every imaginable item and some great bargains! On our way back to my car (I parked far...More
