We went to this museum during the day. We thought it looked really cute and interesting. The kids were free, so that was nice. But there was a lot of things that you had to read to find cool information, so kids just blew right...More

Learn more about mining and the early days of Jerome at this museum located in the heart of town. An inexpensive history lesson before heading down to the Audrey Headframe and Douglas Mansion.

The museum is located in the back of a shop and costs about $2 per adult, so it is worth a stop if it is your first time, or if you have never been to Jerome. A vast majority of the exhibits are mostly text...More

This was most definitely a high-light of our holiday. Remarkably well structured history of America's very own industrial revolution. The photographs and many displays brought together a detailed story of not just the copper mining, but also how the people lived and prospered.

Learned about Jerome's history and the ways the city has changed over time. Well worth the couple of bucks we paid to get in!

We took an out of the way scenic drive and ended up in Jerome Arizona. If you take Rte 17 north out of Phoenix to Rte 89A, this will take you to the living goast town of Jerome. The mining museum is a must see...More

A decent little stop to learn some history of the Jerome AZ mining town. Once called the wickedest city in America. It had prostitution, drinking, gambling, murders, and at one time an average of 47 miner deaths per day ( so I’m told). As note,...More

On the outside, it has gorgeous views, it's pretty high up in the mountains. We went here before catching the Verde Valley Train ride. It was unimpressive and boring, unless you have an interest in copper mining.
