We looked into the tours of Jerome, but they didn't get good reviews. We ended up driving to Jerome and walking around, and drove to what we couldn't walk to. Go to the 1918 Liberty Theatre and Gifts. They have some cool gifts and souvenirs....More

My cousin told us about this place so we wanted to check it out. It turn out to be a great idea. We had so much fun, that we would recommend that everyone visit this place.

This free park gives insight into the headworks for an underground copper mining shaft. There are some good plaques on its history. The main attraction is being able to stand on a plexiglass cover over a thousand foot plus lighted vertical shaft. It is deep.

Cool view on top of mine shaft. No fee to enter. Great views of area. Amazing that people would go down in that cage

This is a free stop that has a good view of a very deep mine shaft. It has plexiglass on the shaft, so you can stand on it and look down.

We were driving around Jerome and stumbled upon the mine shaft. It's free to get in and not large but definitely worth the time to walk around and see what is there. All the old equipment, the entry to the shaft (everything is VERY safe),...More

We enjoyed looking at the antique machinery and taking interesting photos. You can stand on a glass plate that caps a 1900 foot mine shaft...if you want. I didn't. LOL

It is free to visit this attraction. Not much to see except for the headframe (raises and lowers things into the mine shaft) and then the highlight is standing on the glass cover of the 1,900 foot deep mine shaft. Can't really see that far...More
