I cannot begin to describe the level of service of Mpongo Park Staff. The stress of worrying are completely taken away from you. Staff is generally alert, professional, smiling and assertive. They are extremely puntual, i must add. The planners ensure that everything goes extremely smooth. There is so much to say, in the least, our guests were very entertained... More

You can drive with your own car through the parc. We saw a lot of Giraffes and Zebras. You need a off road car and make sure you used the restroom before.

Mpongo is a world of its own...peace and tranquility with outstanding hospitality and unbelievable cuisine. I highly recommend Mpongo for a family vacation, a romantic holiday, a conference, a wedding, a party or just a day visit. It is most refreshing to be around such a beautiful environment with staff with undeniable passion. A definite must see

Enjoyed the ride. Saw many different types of animals including a pack of giraffes very very close. Sad to know a Rhino was poached. We did not found the elephants but did see the Hipo while having dessert at the restaurant afterward. Service and dessert were good. Nice way to see the African wildlife without spending a ton of money.

Our two year old son loved the game drive through Mpongo. It's small and safe enough to accommodate a family with a small child.

Good family outing to view game and a game drive. Ranger was knowledgeable and good game seen. Close to East London to experience a taste of Africa.

We had a brilliant day at Mpongo, we opted for a self drive as we are pretty experienced with wildlife. The reserve has plenty of animals out and about and no open predators as they would probably gobble everything up! We were given a map and told to have fun. We really enjoyed the drive and you will too. 4x4... More

Visited for a morning game drive. The ranger was friendly, well informed and conveyed many interested facts about the wild life in the reserve. Perhaps just unlucky but didn't see much wildlife... Restaurant food is of good standard. Try the chicken pie!

Unfortunately the area is still very dry despite the rain lately. Met one of the rangers who was helpful. He chatted to us about the park and what we might see on our self drive tour. We saw a variety of bucks - from very small to the very large. Giraffe and water monitor. A few bird species and a... More

Not good at all - virtually no game only antelope and one Giraffe in the distance. The lunch menu was not good and the service also not great. We will not be back
