Fabulous scenery.

It seemed to take an age to get into the park because of form filling by the ranger at the entrance. We wondered if it was worth the effort and cost. This is a popular venue. The... read more

Be sure to wear proper shoes and go during the cool part of the day. There is a beach for swimming we wished we'd brought our suits!

It seemed to take an age to get into the park because of form filling by the ranger at the entrance. We wondered if it was worth the effort and cost. This is a popular venue. The day was cloudless and hot and the car park was full. We saw few people however. It is a huge place and the... More

Stunning views well marked trails. Seals beaches cliffs great walk. We did the longer one about 10 km, took about 2 1/2 hrs, not a hard walk but be prepared for some cliff edge paths and some scrambling up pretty steep and loose ground at the start of the return section . There's a beautiful beach for a dip but... More

The best experience will be at LOW tide. This enables you to cross over a huge sandbank to the little island and the views are spectacular. Just the short walk takes 2-3 hours , best to NOT take sandals due to the biting ants,

Lovely unspoilt nature reserve with 3 different trails. You do need to be fairly fit to tackle the trails especially in the heat. Make sure you have a hat, water, trainers & enthusiasm. You will be well rewarded with unrivalled views, totally pristine beaches & places that not not many people on this planet will ever visit. Love this place... More

Wonderful place to visit with stunning scenery but plagued by ants. The views were some of the best we came across along the Garden Route.

Robberg should be on the top of anyone's to-do list when visiting Plettenberg Bay in the Garden Route. It offers picturesque views across the bay to the north, framed by the Tsitsikamma mountain range, and over the Indian Ocean to the south. Most enjoyable on a clear, sunny day. The circular hiking trail is broken up into three different lengths,... More

It is a lovely walk around the reserve with magnificent views. You get to experience the ocean and the shore up close and personal.

We had a choice of three walks, and frankly someone warned us about the longest one. I am so glad we did not listen to them, and we spent over 6 hours walking around the whole place. The sand dunes at the end were the best thing of the walk. Just be careful to not wear open shoes as there... More
