This hike was amazing even in the fog! At first I was a bit disappointed coming upon the reserve in fog, but it burned off in spurts. What was really stunning was the gap between the rocks which takes about 10 minutes of walking to...More

This is a very beautiful place, but come prepared for steep climbs and hiking. To get to where the seals are, you will need to go through a lot to get to them. Go with plenty of time left in the day because it takes...More

Cape Conservation have done a great job in creating three wonderful walks of varying degrees of duration and difficulty. Last year we did the shorter version of this trail which was about two hours. This year, my wife and I did the 9.2km route which...More

We did the 9km hike, took us 3 and a half hours to complete. It is a tough enough climb at times, definitely need proper shoes for walking and climbing. The seals are lovely to see and lovely views to see. We really enjoyed it....More

Loved the longer hike - took us 4 hours - lots of seals!! A little climbing- bring footwear with a good grip, hats, sun screen. It was very quiet in May, we met 2 couples over the 4 hours - felt like we had the...More

Beautiful walk in pristine surroundings! We did the "Witsand" walk - took us two hours at a gentle pace. Some climbing involved but not too strenuous. Only slightly out of breath :-) Highly recommended!

Amazing nature walk with various options depending on ability. We decided to do the full 9km which was a circular route around the peninsula. Stunning views and amazing wildlife. What an experience! Saw hundreds of seals, both relaxing and playing in the water. Looked out...More

Hi, We are debating between the 9km and the 6km hike. Four of us are all pretty fit but not sure if scrambling is for all of us. What would we be missing if we only did the 6km route? Would we still see the marine life?

The Roberg hike is not difficult at all, you would make it. I met two kids that were below 10 years who were having fun time walking Roberg

Recommended that you don't start long walk after 14.00 but this would not be critical in summer, and at low tide. Long walk is estimated at 31/2 - 4 hours. But don't underestimate the walk - see recent comments.
