Had no idea how critical Navajo Marines were during the first world war sending secure messages in their language. Fascinating exhibit

Was looking forward to spending time reading about this group. But, they have chosen to not have as much information as they had two years ago. I was rather disappointed in this display. Still there is some to learn.

There wasn't much to see here. Much of the display was given over to World War II memorabilia. The code talker portion wasn't terribly informative. We learned about the code talkers from our Monument Valley guide than we did from this exhibit.

Between the Hampton Inn and Burger King in Kayenta. Nice exhibit of Navajo lodging next to the museum. Appears to be free - no one asked for admission. The Burger King also has an exhibit within the restaurant. Well worth the stop to examine.

We stopped there on the long drive to Page, the Burger king location is actually nice and clean, so with the kidos it is a good stop on the road, however the exhibit is nice, i wouldn't stop just for this

This place is worth the stop. The display and history of the Navajo code Talkers is awe inspiring. there are also people around this place that can add to the history if you have any questions.

By far the best exhibit I have seen. I was very impressed by the collection and quality, as well as the information. And what a wonderful tribute. Mr. King has paid to his father. Thank you Mr. King for sharing this.

Well, it was a very interesting code, one that supposedly they Japanese could not crack during the 2.W.W. Unfortunately, time has long passed this fact and the importance of it. Entrance Google!! However, if you are a “war buff”, you will probably enjoy it.

I can't find the hours posted online, and the museum doesn't seem to have a website -- the small display case at the Burger King next door is probably available from early morning to late evening, like the restaurant hours... More
