It's a lot of steps up and down - about 40 min worth of walking from the starting point at the car park - to get to the bridge. Lovely views all along the way, and at the bridge too. Many lovely sunbirds buzzing around...More

My partner and I went for a hike in the Tsitsikamma National Park before walking to the suspension bridge and the view is just phenomenal! A must see when in the Tsitsikamma National Park!

It was an acceptable walk to the bridge, a bit of climbing but it was still manageable. It was a beautiful walk into the forest. As for the ocean view, it does not change much as the suspension bridge is near the restaurant. There is...More

Spectacular. When you get to the area where the walk to the suspension bridge begins, there is no signage. Walk over the sand to the paths (there are two) and then keep to the left hand side. The right hand side pathway leads up to...More

Being a person who is a complete pansy when it comes to heights, walking across the bridge was tricky. However the views and scenery of the area in general validate a visit to Storms River Mouth.

We went here to walk along the suspension bridge and my was it beautiful. The weather wasn't the best and the ocean was quite rough however if it was calm and better weather it would've been really beautiful. The walk along the bridge was very...More

Once in the park you pay for a days entrance fee and need to be out by a certain time. Had a great hike to the bridge not too difficult but long well worth it. Need good walking shoes and allow 3hrs or more if...More

The suspension bridge hangs over the storm river mouth before part of it flows to the Indian Ocean. After parking your car, walk past Falls Adventures and cross the bridge which you will reach a fairly easy to navigate boardwalk till a steep decline to...More

Storms River has so much to offer. The Suspension Bridge is an amazing feat of design. We also climbed up to the lookout- awesome views. The highlight of the day was the hike to the Waterfall - a must. We even got to swim in...More

If you have the opportunity, check out the Suspension Bridge at Tsitsikamma National Park. It is not particularly hard, but totally worth the hike!

Are there any guided tours to the bridges or anywhere else in the park? Would love to learn a bit about the park as well as seeing it's beauty. Thank you. April

We did the visit on a self drive holiday. Didn't see any guides but there were coach parties there so there may be some trips if you look around. If driving from Plettenberg Bay you will pay a toll fee on the main road... More

The time I was visiting I didn't see anyone with a pet so my guess is they are not allowed.

We are a party of four travelling from PE to Knysna via Storms River. We are fairly fit but of different abilities (in our 60's). We are planning to stay at Ferney lodge. Could anyone please advise if two nights is long enough in this area or would three nights be a good idea? What else is there to do in this area, is there anything we should not miss??!! I don't think we would do kayaking or the canopy experience!! Many thanks for any ideas. Chrissy
