A reliable fast connection from Johannesburg to OR Tambo Airport. Clean train, few stops - not cheap. Sign posting a bit irritating when changing platforms.

This is by far the quickest way to get to the airport and between Johannesburg and Pretoria. Safe to park your car and leave it at the stations.

Took the train from the airport and swiftly got to sandton. It was a beautiful and quick ride. Best train ride I ever had. To avoid traffic and drama on the streets pls utilize the gautrain

Staff at Rohedsfield station was very helpfull. The train was ontime for departure. Couches are neat and clean. Trip was very good and arrival at Sandton station was on time. Best ride in Johannesburg to save time.

Perfect for returning home at midday as traffic is always so heavy.Hubby picked me up in Rosebank. Only complaint is why does the train stop at 9 so many flights come in after this time.

Yes, you can purchase the ticket at the station. Check the gautrain website for the fares. From Rosebank to Hatfield Station it costs R55. With the exchange R10.60 to AUD1.00, we are talking AUD5.18.
