Spent an enjoyable Sunday morning browsing the indoor market. A variety of wares ranging from vintage items to curios to clothing. In addition, an assortment of fast food options covering a range of cuisines - Indian, Serbian, South African etc. Open on Sundays from 9am - 4pm.

A great place to spend a Sunday morning with plenty of different stalls offering local souvenirs, a flea market, local and cosmopolitan foods and drinks.

I usually visit and encourage tourists to visit Rosebank market but had an unfortunate incident this afternoon where my 3 yr old accidentally bumped into a glass too low table that resulted in the glass top crashing onto her leg. This happened while I was looking around for a store vendor to assist me with the prices so I was... More

We visited this market today, and found it to consist of numerous stalls selling a variety of African type crafts and souvenirs. There was also a number of stalls selling food from other countries, and a few selling local drinks, such as South African cider which was very tasty. You will find items for sale here that you may not... More

The market is worth is just for lunch. The food is freshly prepared and diverse - catering for all cultures. The African Craft section is busy and popular with tourists. The antiques are more popular with locals. The market is well-laid out with each section clearly marked. There is also a craft section and an art and photography section.

This market has unfortunately moved location due to the Rosebank redevelopments and has lost most of its unique character - and many of the stall-holders. Visitor numbers are also down dramatically. We will not be going back there on our next visit.

been for yonks and went recently and in reality not much about the products and wares for sale has changed.Just the same old ..... that was sold previously, or variances thereof...pretty boring and nothing to write home about.

Last visited the original roof market about 11 years ago and this is definitely an improvement. Plenty of South African souvenirs to choose from and all in good quality. Very reasonably priced. Had a typical lunch there though the bunny chow wasn't traditional as a roll was used plus salad as a topping. Surrounding was very clean. Worth a visit... More

Rosebank Roof Market is a nice place to spend a Sunday morning and to find some nice african piece of handicraft. I really like the vibe and the noise of people in this quite big market where you can find a lot of products. On the other hand, this market is a tourist trap and you have to be aware... More

the market is in the parking of supermarket but it has everything markets need - kids corner, african art, second hand stuff and nice food court.
