when you're in the neighborhood, or when you have time. It's not that special, a busy market with to much of the same market stalls. A few nice things, but I expected more special, unique stuff so I was a little disappointed.

Purposely went to buy African gifts. The downside is having to barter on price. Not comfortable knocking prices down and as a result I found I paid far too much as I got similar items a lot less at the African shops at the Airport....More

There are some bargains to be found but many stalls offer almost identical items. Have a good look around before you buy and don't be afraid of bargaining.

Located on two floors in a suburban shopping center, its a good collection of African type arts and craft. Its possible to compare items because there are so many vendors. However, I find the hard sell makes me not want to buy anything. If you...More

Hi Beth, answers are yes and yes. You will feel quite safe there. Also agree with Michelle to keep your wits about you. Don't allow wallets to be seen etc. Food hall also very good, give it a try.
