This is trully a beautiful place and excellent views. Although seems to be quite a safe place i would recommend to visit it with a local person. Better than the Gautrain!

Although this is a large park with paths leading to various areas, such as the Rose Garden, I was disappointed at the lack of information at the entrance. Entrance is free to this large Park; ideal for all ages, picnic, dog walking, seeing the gardens. A large water area with plenty of birds and a small cafe.

Very tidy park. Ample parking. Has jogging and walking trails. A canoe club. Many people walk their dogs and cycle through the park. a Lovely Rose garden with beautiful water fountain. Many couples use the venue for wedding photography shoots. The park is well maintained. Free entrance. Can also have Braai on Louw Geldenhys road overlooking the dam and park.... More

Good place to walk the dog (didn't see anyone without one) or simply see green. But not really much more... It was nice however, well-kept!
