Beautiful, large & well kept. Not quite what I expected growing up with Kirstenbosch in Cape Town, but lovely park even if it's status as a Botanical garden seems a bit misplaced.

Been to this spot for a few music festivals and picnics. The dam and surrounding gardens are very relaxing. Taking a picnic blanket and basket is a great day out. Well worth the effort.
