The Goodman gallery has always been touted as a leading gallery on South African contemporary art. When I visited this was not so, an interactive exhibition with some photos and less than 20 items shown to me by the staff.

This is a well regarded local art gallery known for spotting emerging talent. They have good exhibits from time to time. Complements Everard Read Gallery for a good sense of what's happening with investment grade and emerging investment grade artists.

This gallery is very small and for us I am afraid the few works were 100% without merit. We were in and out within 5 minutes and rather disappointed. This gallery seems to be one for people with very 'avant garde' tastes.
