The gallery's been around as far as I can remember. Popping in from time to time always yields interesting and engaging surprises.

This gallery is a lovely flow of light with gallery spaces being inside and outside in the gardens. It is such a joy to visit and the art is excellent. Keep looking out for the sculptures of Dylan Lewis, they are scattered throughout the gallery and they are marvelous.

When I was there, the key exhibition was botanical art. Very beautiful. Otherwise, the other stuff was pretty quirky.

This is one of the top contemporary art galleries in South Africa with cutting edge exhibitions and a beautiful space to visit. The century-old Everard Read Gallery is a must-see for any culture seekers and if you can attend one of their openings, you are assured to encounter great art, interesting crowds and a glass of wine. The gallery is situated on what has recently become the Keyes Art Mile, so there are many other galleries to see in walking distance, including the connected CIRCA Gallery across the road.

Just a lovely gallery with great art work. Dylan Lewis bronzes are incredibly beautiful. Entrance is free. Look out for special exhibits and events which happen regularity.

I had expected more from this art gallery. What I found was a very commercialised set-up with very high prices and I thought to myself how much of this price actually reaches the pocket of the artist.
