Welcome to an Eden hidden in the West Rand of Gauteng where beautiful nature welcomes visitors and the rushing water of the Witpoortjie Waterfall, gushing from a height of 70 metres, soothes and revitalises careworn city-dwellers. The garden is home to a pair of breeding Verreaux's Eagles (Black Eagles) which have become proud symbols of this majestic garden. Walking, hiking, picnics, exercising, bird watching, relaxing, nature appreciation, are some of the popular activities of visitors to the garden.

I've been here many times. The gardens are well kept with plenty of indigenous plants. We ate in the coffee shop the food is average and the service a little slow however, the staff are keen to please. I would recommend a visit.

It's a very relaxing natural environment. Kept very clean and beautiful. As adults we could stay out the entire day but when with kids do take along entertainment.

I love to walk their trails and watch all their bird species including the nesting pair of Verreaux Eagles right by their beautiful waterfall. And to end a perfect day by enjoying refreshments at their restaurant.

I was treated disrespectfully. (On the phone) by the female who handles tours. When I asked if I could join a tour as a single person, she laughed. Unless she was laughing at something else, I find her attitude disrespectful. My enthusiasm to visit your garden has diminished. I am an overseas visitor and have never been treated like this. The line was so bad that I couldn't make out what she was saying. I gave her my long distance number and she hasn't called back
