A lovely place for dining and shopping.

We went shopping and had dinner at the restaurants located within. A lovely place to chill out with friends and family

This was a disappointment. The square is surrounded by chain restaurants such as Hard Rock Café. Nothing to tie the square to Nelson Mandela except for a large statue of him.

A large shopping center associated with many food options. The Mandela's statue is worth to see and in the mall you will find all kind of brand stores. The place is safe and clean, open everyday, Sundays included. Enjoy your shopping

If you are into malls this is one not to be missed. It is endless. I think I only saw 1/4 of it. You will find all the internation brands represented

Since you needed a car to explore Johannesburg, I suggest you stay around Posh area of Sandton. Located in the mall complex, the area is full of shops and restaurant but main attraction in the square is the big statue of Nelson Mandela, world known revolutionary and president of South Africa, this place mirrors the prosperity of this city.

You can find everything you need here. Hard Rock Cafe, Butcher, Coffee Shops, a Small Casino with slot machines. We tasted wines at Butcher. It was a good experience for us.

Everything is in reasonable price here. Went to a small souvenir shop inside the mall, Jacana. You can buy a pretty Swazi candle (big pyramid candle cost 140 Rand) for your home decor.
