We enjoyed our hour tour of the area and saw the most impressive snakes Africa has on offer. People are friendly and explain a lot. We got to interact with a python and it does add flavour. A great stop on a Hoedspruit day.

Donald who is the owner and founder of the reptile park, will have you focused on every word he says. More enthusiasm in one man is hard to find. A variety of courses are available or just a stroll through the park is well worth the visit. The staff are well trained and will make your stay most welcome. Book... More

We did our snake course. Very educational, scary and all other emotions that one would imagine comes with handling snakes. Personally I enjoyed every minute and have a much better understanding of snakes. Staff were fantastic and always helpful.

Spent a morning seeing various snakes and spiders placed in their natural habitats for us to photograph whilst I was doing volunteer work for African Impact at Dumela Lodge. I was very impressed with this centre, the place itself is a fun and vibrant visit but what made it so special was learning from the staff about all the various... More

This is a real cool place with lots of snakes, birds and other animals that are from all over the world. Most were given up by their owners when they grew to big to care for in a private setting. Learned so much and even got to hold a cobra!

We did the four hour reptile orientation course. Damien, our instructor, was incredibly knowledgable and passionate about the animals. We learned a great deal about snakes, spiders and other crawling creatures in the area. He did demonstrations with very poisonous snakes right in front of us, showing how non-threatening snakes really are if you just leave them alone. I never... More

We just want to thank Prince our guide for all the information he gave us. He went out of his way to make it a great outing with the family.

Amazing to see and interact with these, generally under appreciated 'animals'. The staff also extremely knowledgable and very helpful. Always something new featured.

we were lucky to spend a guided morning at Kinyonga as part of a group from the student programme at HESC. We first watched a really interesting presentation on reptiles that lasted about 20 minutes. After a quick stroll around the centre we were given the opportunity to watch a snake feeding and then also had a further outdoor presentation... More

The Kinyonga Reptile Center was nice and small. In about one hour you can see every animal. There was a snake presentation and the lady showed different kinds of snakes and told us information about their behavior. She was not using a microphone, which could sometimes be difficult to hear her. They have a very wide variation in snakes. There... More
