My husband had a broken foot and the staff were wonderful and accommodating. We had not booked an elephant ride for obvious reasons and the staff saw we were the only ones not going and wanted to. They encouraged my husband and three men helped him get on the elephant. They took photos so I could pay attention to my... More

Wanted to do this to learn more about elephants who have awed (and terrified) me for the many years since we first encountered them in the wild. Getting up close and personal with them has reinforced my admiration and respect for these intelligent, impressive and huge beasts. The whole experience was wonderful - thanks to all the staff who made... More

I love Elephants and this sanctuary was very good and looked after the animals very well. It was fascinating for me to see the difference between India and African elephants.

The name Elephant Sanctuary is very misleading and was not what I expected. The Elephant Sanctuary is another form of elephant tourism which I do not agree with. I was very upset to see elephant rides as I did not expect this and felt pressured while i was there to do things I didn't want to do. I got the... More

In awe of the jajestic elephant by after spending the morning learning all about them and interacting with them was something edge. The guides and trainers are extremely passionate it brings tears to your eyes. Once in a lifetime for some but I have... More

For an outing with a difference you will remember forever go and meet the elephants at the Elephant Sanctuary. You get up close an interact with them, touch and even ride if you wish. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the elephants playful. There is nothing like being right next to a full grown African bull elephant. Not for the... More

What a wonderful experience ! These animals are so huge you just can't belive it. We also did the ride experience and I'd say its a must do ! the trunk walk thing was alright but just being in their proxcimity was just the best. They also present a lot of information about the animals we found quite interesting. Wear... More

Having visited a Thai elephant sanctuary previously I now feel ashamed to have visited a place that really had nothing on the superb, knowledgable and positive reinforcement type of training that I witnessed at the Hazyview sanctuary. We were given a lot of information regarding these mighty beasts as well as being able to ride them bareback which alas they... More
