I must start by saying that I am keen on game parks and only went to be with relatives. However, we saw an astonishing amount of game, including 4 of the big 5. The picnic places and rest stops were very well laid out and...More

It is always so exciting to see animals in the wild, the beautiful trees and plant life. What was sad to see is the erosion in large areas of the park. The Olifants river looks bad with all the algae. We have tried to ask...More

We stayed a total of three nights inside the park (North, Centre, and South) and managed to get a camping space when booking one day in advance each time (R290 per night). Entrance to the park normally costs R304.00 per adult (foreigners) per day but...More

The Kruger Park is a fantastic winter breakaway in South Africa. My favourite camp is Olifants. Try to get a house with a view.

Good experience. Plenty of wildlife. Relatively good service. Some camps are run-down and require improvement and better management. Overall nice with friendly service.

We (parents + 2 kids) stayed in Jackelberry Ridge in Marloth Park next to Crocodile Bridge entrance ( 20 min) in a very nice accomodation, half tent, half house. We highly recommend this place also for more persons.

September & October best for game viewing - grass flattened or absent, no water lying in bush meaning animals have to visit main rivers and artificial waterholes. Trees in flower. Not too hot.
