We self drove for two days through this National Park that is so magnificent. We saw some quite incredible sittings. Three of note were white Rhinoceros both days, a herd of elephant both days romping in the Sabie River and a Leopard that had killed a Warthog. It is a very difficult drive as you cannot get out in the... More

And that word is amazing. Seeing those beautiful animals in their own habitat and not in a cage. I have so much respect for the rangers.

At least once a year I visit this national treasure, and every time i am in total awe of this national wonder. This time we stayed in the Berg en Dal and Lower Sabie self catering accommodation. The Southern park is excellent to see plenty of elephant and rhino. We also saw a leopard! The restaurants offer great food and... More

We spent a week at Kruger Park staying in various camps. We loved it when we visited 12 years ago but it seemed even better this time. We saw the big five. We did several early morning drives through the camps as well as an after dark drive. The very best big five viewing was during sunrise drives. We saw... More

Extremely comfortable and ambiance was amazing, surrounding bush is special, very close to river and bird life was abundant.

Kruger national park is an extremely exciting, great for all people, your best going in July time as it's winter months, the grass is low... a few days is good to travel around Kruger. The hotel's are very good also, some can be African tradition, others like all hotels, food is cheap, beverage is cheap. But Kruger you travel in... More

We stayed at Rustique B&B in Graskop three nights, primarily having come to see the Blyde river canyon. But the owner Lucinda gave us a tip that we could easily do the Kruger park in a day since one of the closest gates to the park was just some 40 min drive away. We drove past Hazyview and entered the... More

During our 6 week trip through South Africa, Botwana, Namibia and back to Cape Town, Kruger National Park was our favourite place and we stayed at 3 different campsites for one night each. We were travelling through Kruger during the dry season in October and entered the park halfway up at Phalaborwa and travelled to the top, leaving at Pafuri.... More

As a 52-year-old nature lover who has traveled around, I rate Kruger as one of the best things I have ever done. My partner and I are at 6 days and counting, driving from the south boundary to the north. If you are only interested in seeing dense populations of wildlife, stay to the south, but if you are a... We were lucky. One of our party has relations with a lodge in nearby Marloth Park and were able to take us on tour for the two days we spent in the park. Phot and camcorder opportunities abounded and we saw 4 out of the 5 'biggies', the leopard eluding our cameras although the driver spotted one fleetingly. We saw... More
