Our tour guide David, who conducted the Big 5 safari was very friendly and knowledgeable, and cooked a good BBQ too. Recommend this tour, saw basically all the wildlife, except the elusive leopard and lion. The hippo tour was also the best, we got really close up and were able to watch the baby hippos playing with each other.

I booked a one night stay at short notice at Heritage House B&B with a boat cruise and night safaris and transfers from Durban Airport. The website wasn't as seamless as it might have been and I had to call the Lodge and Heritage Tours several times to book as they each said they booked accommodation and tours separately. Though... I have tracked wildlife all my life. I recognise it cannot be expected to perform on cue, However, this was not tracking. It was a long drive on the beach with no serious attempt at finding the goal. The tour itself panned out pretty much as advertised - 2.5 hour travel each way, half of it on the beach. We... More

Me and my partner took the morning safari untill late afternoon. Being picked up on time at 4.45 a.m. Breakfast included which was fine, didnt see big 5 but enjoyed the park. Staff (David) is a great guy, making jokes is a friendly appearance and explains nice things about the animals. Also he is patient and waiting for his guests... More

We had a four day stay with Heritage Tours and from arriving to leaving everything was meticulously organised. Jon was a very knowledgeable leader on the game drives doing his utmost to share his expertise and, of course, find the animals. Altogether a marvelous experience which I would willingly revisit tomorrow. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic game drive through Hluhuwe. This place is so much greener and lusher than Kruger. You will be able all the "Big 5" if you are lucky. Both black and white Rhinos.

Did the Hippo and Croc boat trip up the St Lucia estuary (twice), visited the Emdoneni Lodge Cheetah Rehab Centre, the Zulu Cultural Village, the Big Five day safari at Huluhluwe/Imfolozi Park and the Cape Vidal safari/night drive into iSimangaliso Wetland Park. They were all superb and the guides were very knowledgeable. We personally felt uncomfortable with the night drive,... More

Booked a one night package with heritage tours, it includes an estuary cruise, night safari at isimangaliso and the early morning safari in umfolozi. All three were excellent, our guide to Hluhluwe-umfolozi was Darren, he is passionate and knowledgable about animals and went the extra mile to show us the big five (well.. technically we didn't see the leopard but... We stayed in St. Lucia and coming from Kruger Park, we still wanted to have a guided trip to Hluhluwe Umfolozi. So it was David who picked us up at 5am and we drive to the park with an open Land Rover. We have seen a lot of rhinos, buffalos; giraffes and elephants - one came so close to our... More
