There is a free transfer from your hotel. The boat takes max. 15 persons. A nice small boat where you can walk around and stand at evry site of the boat. During the tour we saw bigger boats which were more crowded and people were not able to take that perfect picture. The trip takes around 2 hours and there... More

Shakabarker was recommended to us for this tour, as they use smaller boats with a max. of 15 people per tour. When we saw the bigger boats out on the estuary later on, we were more than happy about the recommendation. Great trip with lots of hippos and crocs, very attentative guide and some fruits and drinks.

The sunset boat tour to see the hippo's and crocodiles was wonderful. Anthony is a great guide and really knows a lot about the animals and the environment. We learned a lot and were blown away by the beauty of the animals we saw.

We went on a night drive through Cape Vidal and had a wonderful experience. We saw quite a lot of animals, the bush babies, dwarf chameleon , buffalo's , and we were lucky to see a rhino We learned a lot of interesting things from our guide Kian, about the park and the animals, he was a friendly guide.

We use these guys every time we have visitors or just need to see some hippos. Many tours are done on massive boats but these guys keep groups small so you'll see more and actually get your guide's full attention. Guides are full of info (we know because we asked lost of questions). They do pick ups from local accommodation... More

We did 3 tours on different days. The sunset hippo tour was great and apart from loads of hippos we saw crocs abd lots of birds. We were given really interesting info about the area with each tour. We also did the night safari. Sadly, we didn't see a leopard, but did see a civet (Rare), as well as rhinos,... More

Simply awesome with excellent history made available by Ken and his team, saw many wild animals including Buffalo, Rhino, Zebra, Hippo, Kudu and many more species of birds, etc. Being in the middle of the wilderness late at night with nothing familiar around you, that is amazing plus the experience is priceless.

Recommended by our Guest House Manager and so very pleased we opted for the small boat operated by Shakabarker. Tours. We were picked up, on time, from our front door and taken to our departure point by our driver, Welcome was his name and he turned out to be our boat skipper, guide and coffee maker. His knowledge was superb... More
