The day started wet and rainy and ended wet and rainy. Still itcwas a highlight, Dennis the skipper handed out raincoats and off we went... seeing plenty of hippos. Dennis did an amazing job sharing his expertise with us and making us forget the "good" weather and giving us a great time! Very knowledgeable person! A must do!

A wonderfully informative evening boat trip into the estuary yesterday evening was information rich. We both admired the serious environmental and ecological passion which our guide Stacy exuded. She introduced us to her broad knowledge of every creature we saw be they bird or beast. Described the details of their habits and habitat showed us their behavior. Explained many many... More

Hippos, Crocs, Fish Eagles, Giant Kingfisher and many more. This trip makes St Lucia! The captain of our boat was so knowledgeable, was interactive with the passengers, answered questions, added genuine humour and did not repeat a worn out script. Thank you Sean and your crew for a terrific sundowner cruise!

We saw a lot of hippos, crocodiles and beautiful birds. The cruise was very scenic and comfortable. Try to book the last cruise of the day - as in hot weather the cruise can get uncomfortable and there will be less hippos to see.

We visited in January/ February 2016 It was a very special day the guide was so good, new the Hippo's and there families, got very close. The evening cruise would be the best but gets booked very quickly. You should take a good camera and video cam, it really is worth a visit. we were unlucky because the water levels... More

A lovely leisurely cruise down the St Lucia Estuary watching hippos in their natural habitat. The guide Dennis was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts with us throughout the 2hr tour. It was especially amazing seeing the 13 day old baby hippo. Spotted a majestic fish eagle in the Estuary as well. Definitely recommend this cruise for people wanting... More

I went on the 4:30 pm cruise arranged by Heritage Tours. We were in the smaller Shoreline cruise boats which made for a more intimate experience. The guide was very knowledgable and good at getting the boat in close to hippos for good shots. It has taken 20 years for the boats to get this close without scaring the hippos.... More
