This was our fourth visit to the park and because Mosu was fully booked we stayed at Lilydale Camp, surely the Cinderella of the park. It felt rather forlorn with few visitors and yet it has lovely bungalows well appointed and overlooking the Riet River....More

The ecosystems vary a lot over a small area (45 minute drive from the northern gate to the southern gate). Lots of threatened species particularly antelope) and most quite easy to see. The park is not crowded so you never get the Kruger style scrums...More

Stunni g to see the variety of buck.... impala, springok, nyala, eland, gemsbok, tssesebe, roan...... alsp buffalo, rhino and noisy jackals. The birding was even better. Caroline topped 300 birds on pur visit. Chalets comfortable and made for happy evenings.

Just saw on another forum that there was quite a bit of rain, perhaps check with the park if you plan a visit within the next couple of days
