This place have a huge historic value to our country,you can see how the people lived in those days,first place to have electricity in our country,tells you how the diamont mining started in our country.I enjoyed the trip.Children enjoyed it as well

I really enjoyed this museum but had too little time to read all the exhibits. The journey into the mine was a cool addition. Would go back.

This museum is the access point to view the "Big Hole" and carries a fee. The museum gives a good level of information aimed to different levels of visitor including children. There is a simulated underground section and a viewing of diamond grading to seeing...More

Hallo there. Yes there is places inside the main building where you can buy jewellery. Even oposite the Mine there is also a jewellery company. Hope this will answer your queation
