This lush valley basin was declared a reserve in 1961 and protects numerous antelope species and over two hundred documented bird species. Hikers of all skill levels enjoy short hikes, day hikes and overnight camping treks.

Loved the drive and views from various points. Fresh air and great scenery. Hiking trail was awesome... Waterfalls beauty. Can have a supermarket or takeaway though for emergencies

We went out with friends it was a super day the road is tared n the picnic spots were nice .. there are beautiful water falls but not for day visitors only if u hiking overnight so that for me was the schlap part not...More

Close encounters but not wilderness game viewing . Many species and fairly easy access via car to most lookout and roads .

We saw many Oryx and enjoyed the scenic drive, the road is nicely maintained, but a shop with refreshments is needed

we didn't have too much time as we could spend maybe 3 do 4h (that allow as to see maybe 40% of the park _ MAX) we also have a regular car, which didn't allow to go via of road locations.. but still: crocodile, hippos,...More

Park personnel visible throughout from entrance to entering into the park itself had a good view at the animals and the large bird life, ablution facility s are clean and well looked after this was a nice quiet drive on a Sunday
