The Valley of Waves is the central feature of the Lost City at Sun City. It is one of the most advanced water parks in the world, dominated by the Roaring Lagoon. When waves are not generated, a bobbing cycle is generated in a diamond pattern. All Resort residents enter the park free of charge by presenting their resident cards. Day visitors pay an entrance fee to the park.

It's a fake beach with fake waves, but you've got to love it – the waves are generated with a lovely 'boom' from the back of the pool. The water is that kind of blue you only see in movies. There's shade and back rests,...More

The Valley of the Waves makes for a great, relaxing day out especially for families with young children. There is always plenty of sun, sand and 'surf' to keep everyone busy. The water slides and wave pool especially, are very popular with the youngsters. Being...More

We went in winter so negative is it is flipping freezing but worth the cold. Plus side there were NO q's. Rides were amazing and suits all ages over 1.2m. The lockers and towel rental service was welcome and convenient.

Good fun for the children and adults alike. Young children are also catered for there. Fun ride on tubes down a waterway. Safe area for small children to play in the water and also slides and a beachy area.

It's a wonderful place to chill and kick back. You can swim, enjoy the sun next to the pool, enjoy music from the local DJ, take a walk or enjoy the water slide.

We stayed in the hotel, so our entrance was free. But all entry fees are available for viewing on Sun International's website. You can take your own towels.
