Just up Kloof Nek Road from the center of town is this thriving beach community. Plenty of trendy nightclubs, shops and cafes bring diners and shoppers, while tranquil seas and fine white sand draw sun worshippers and swimmers.

I loved this place. There is no Taxi. Make sure to use Uber app in Cape Town. We had troubles without uber.

We had a nice afternoon walking around the beach, climbing on the rocks after a great lunch. It's still lovely in the winter!

Camp's Bay Beach is an ever-changing vista of sea, wind, people and activities. Immediately opposite the many restaurants fronting the beach are dance troupes, ball games, joggers, sun-bathers and walkers. Further afield and heading towards Cape Town, the Beach is segmented by rocks and forms...More

Camps Bay was always one of our favorite spots. It is sad to see how dirty and neglected that whole area has become. Lots of hawkers and people hanging out there. It's still a huge tourist attraction but definitely not something that you want them...More

This is a great place to view the Atlantic Ocean from Camps Bay. Great views of Table Mountain. Great place for both local and international tourists.

No wonder television and photographic crews are spotted at this spectacular beach all the time. Against the backdrop of the 12 Apostles this makes for great camera footage.Hunks galore in Summer adds to the Hollywood feel, without the fake side.

An umbrella is about 6-8€ and a chair about 4-6€ for the day some are less. It depends who you rent from, there are several different companies.

Yes there are many chair and umbrella vendors. They will approach you as soon as you walk onto the beach. Prices vary from 4-6 Euro for a sun lounger and 6-8 Euros for an umbrella for the day.
