The urban park was one of the legacy projects of the FIFA World Cup 2010. The area is adjacent to the Cape Town Stadium and has stunning views of both the stadium as well as Signal Hill. Lovely place to bring the kids to excercise or to have a picnic. It is also a learning experience for young and old. The garden is separated into ‘People and Plants’, ‘Wetlands’ and ‘Discovering Biodiversity’. The park hours are from 7 to 7 with visible security.

I'm lucky enough to live across the road so spend many summer weekends here. Its a great place to have a picnic and even bring your furbabies. Make sure to pick up their poo and keep them on a leash though

I would gladly pay an entrance fee to this park if they ever started charging one. Appropriate amenities for all ages and water features and views that keep you spell bound. Bring the family or a group of friends and relax, exercise or just have good clean family fun.

Green Point Gardens is a lovely park for families who play games on the grass, have picnics, ride their bikes on the pathways and generally have a nice time outdoors. The indigenous herb garden is informative with plaques explaining all their uses. A lovely addition to the city.

This park, near the Moullie Point lighthouse, is beautifully maintained and absolutely safe. There are interesting walks, places to picnic and the view of the mountain is lovely. There is an outdoor gym and there are always a few joggers doing the circuit.
