As a first time visitor to Africa I chose to do a tour for the first time in my life I've always traveled independently so that in itself challenged me. I had read before I booked that the crew you travel with make or break the journey and this is so true, enough said! I knew this tour was covering... More

The tour was badly organized from the very start. No communication. Not well organized. Had to search for the guide at the start of the tour. The driver/guide showed favoritism to the couple who showered him with wine and beer ignoring the safety on the road and changed the itinerary at the request of the couple and ignoring the requests... If 12 hours most days coupled up in an adapted lorry with almost no suspension is your idea of fun then this will be perfect...! If you also like regular stops to buy tourist tat and exchange money all the better!

We joined this Cape Town To Victoria Falls overland 20 day accommodated tour tour in Cape Town with Nomad. I can highly recommend the tour to anyone. The tour vehicle was a well built, comfortable, large part 4 wheel drive bus/truck. It never missed a beat and handled all conditions excellently. The Nomad itinerary through 4 countries is the very... More

Myself and my wife went on a tour from Cape Town to Nairobi 40 Days ending 27th December 2016. It was effectively split into two, Cape Town to Vic Falls then Vic Falls to Nairobi. Both were incredible, so many memories, great food, loads of wildlife but one of the best things was the social aspect of it all. Have... More

There is an option to do Kenya to Cape Town in one go, however I split this up into two trips so I could have some chill time in Vic Falls which was the mid way point. Kenya to Vic Falls (Departed Start of Aug) There is nothing really bad to say about this trip. All three guides were amazing:... More

If you're going to spend two months pounding dirt in a truck, you may as well go with the ones who will get you there no matter what. These are the folks.
