Nice stop off on a tour from Cape Town over Chapmans Peak

Nice bay with good sandy beach. Had a nice meal at Chapmans Peak Hotel.just as you leave the bay on the way up the Peak. Great Calamari

Whenever I am in Hout Bay I always seem to end up at the harbour for a fish and chips lunch. Always fresh and tasty.

If you'd like to experience a lovely walk along a long beach, amusing yourself with people spending quality time with their pets then this is the place! Besides the bay does not fall short of offering good venues for dining at places that offer menus exploding with typical seafood dishes.

Spent a little time wandering the beaches and then hopping the restaurants patios for a refreshing glass of red wine or a beer while enjoying the stunning views.

Small seaside town worth a stop at. Lots of local art and souvenir stalls and a chance to see wild seals. The landscape is breathtaking and I think the most beautiful place in Cape Town.

The words 'picture postcard' are probably over-used but this really is. With the mountains in the background and sometimes a stray cloud, it's lovely to go paddling too. There are quite a few food offerings there, mostly seafood and very good.
