Though the beach is still popular, the elegant splendor that once graced this seaside resort community barely shows through the paved-over streets, fast-food eateries and shopping centers.

Unexpected beauty of beaches, ocean, sand and sun. You will love the place if you like Bretaigne and its climates

This place is beautiful, We visited late afternoon so beach was very quiet. Beach huts are stunning and stand out. Beach is very clean looking forward to going back for our next visit

Muizenberg Beach is beautiful and pretty close if you're coming from the Southern Suburbs, not as far as Fish Hoek or Simon's Town. It can get very crowded on a nice day so I suggest that you go earlier rather than later as parking can become and issue or take the train... There are a few great restaurants eg. Tiger's... More

After being in Muizenberg for almost a year now, I know it's one of the best, if not BEST locations to stay in Cape Town. If you like surfing, beaches and walking, there is no better place on earth. The atmosphere is relaxed and facilities more than sufficient. Due to the infamous South-Easter Wind it never gets too hot, or... More

We visited the beach on a late Sunday morning and it was pretty packed. The colorful huts are still there but parking could be an issue (parking wardens were around to help). The crowd dissipated slightly when it was around mid-noon.

If you are travelling to the Cape Peninsula and are looking for a nice stop to Stretch your legs, this is perfect. Lovely Long beach with lots of water-based activities. Grab something to eat and watch the scenery.

With it's vibriant coloured little dressing cabins, Muizenberg is a wonderful swimming beach. This beach offers sea guards and it is perfectly safe to swim here.

Reached Muizenberg sunrise beach and clicked few pics of the coloured changing rooms. The beach is as beautiful as most beaches in Cape Town. We headed to the part of the beach where the kite festival was going on. Clicked a few pictures of the kites and proceeded.
