A friend bought us to a service here where we were privileged enough to meet Desmond Tutu and to be there for his final church service. What an honour to meet such a wonderful man who has done so much for Africa.

St. George's Cathedral is a beautiful building. I visited several times, and had the privilege of witnessing Archbishop Desmond Tutu delivering a very interesting sermon. Recently there have been several lovely services meriting visits.

We arrived just as the bridal car pulled up! Pipe organ was playing for wedding - beautiful! Well worth a look around, a beautiful, old and still 'working' church with us warm and welcoming.
