Perhaps the only show in Cape Town that gives you a sense of connection to the music and dance of a segment of South Africa. The show holds you from start to finish with an energy and effusion of spirit that have you wanting more after the hour. The perfect way to spend an evening out in Cape Town after... More

This show is performed by people from the townships and the vitality and joy they bring to it was wonderful. I was dancing when I left the theatre. It was an hour long and took you through the history of African dance. It's held early on in the evening, so you can go and watch and have something to eat... More

This was a brilliant show which was non-stop energy and really gets you immersed in South African culture. It's a shame it only lasts for an hour!

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the enormous energy and engagement shown by all the performers. We really enjoyed the evening. The entrance was very reasonable also for Cape Town, around 150 Rand per person. The seats were comfortable and the glass of decent wine for 20 Rand did not hurt either !

This is a group of young people who perform their heart out to give you the experience of Africa. We arrived early, and the show started on time. The group song many African songs. There instruments were ones that were self made, but gave the sounds of one that could have been purchased in any instrument store. I found this... More

Energetic, entertaining and lots of fun. This was dance at its best but with a very serious story to tell. Good value for money and the hour flew by.

My husband and I visited the African Dance Theatre on Thursday 10th October. We booked online in advance and thought it was great value. The venue is absolutely perfect, very comfortable wide seating with plenty of leg room. I wouldn’t think there is a bad seat in the auditorium. A glass of wine is only 20 rand and was very... More
