Silvermine offers great hikes, areas for picnics and braais & loads of space for energetic kids. I picnic here fairly often with friends and come hiking Views are superb. Well maintained paths.

Silvermine is the best - its great for long hikes, short hikes, cycling, walking your dogs, picnicking, superb views and a swim in the dam. What more do you need?

This is a spectacular well-kept secret nature destination. Families with small children can picnic, and serious hikers can even go all the way up to the Constantiaberg Mast. Wonderful views.
