Prime location, historic importance - well worth a visit. Lots of steps and monuments (pity about the damaged nose)

Great Spot to to go look at some of the Country's History. There are some placed to eat. Very sad to see the damage done to the memorial by protested.

Worth a visit to see the huge memorial to Cecil John Rhodes. A great view of the city & surrounds also makes for a scenic spot to visit.

Its worth the trip to see this, its a shame the statue of Rhodes was defaced but then I guess every country has idiots.Very peaceful and majestic place with great views of the mountains and the cape.

Apart from getting from historical/heritage value of Rhodes Memorial, it enables a traveler to view various places such as the UCT campuses, Groote Schur hospital, and across the Leeisbig river valley.
